The City Community Children's Centre is open Monday to Friday every week,
providing quality day care services in a nurturing and respectful environment.

Ever wondered why there's a great big Chimney in the middle of Halifax St?!
It's a relic of the old City Destructor Complex. The Chimney and the Disinfector building are the only surviving elements of this waste processing plant, which once comprised a refuse destructor, a tin baling press, clinker mill, mortar mill and flagmaking plant.
