Zig Zag City South is a placemaking event designed to showcase our Precinct’s unique character and support our local traders & organisations. The event will be happening across two dates – Sat 17 and Sun 18 October with day and night time gigs to be enjoyed in venues across the Precinct on both days. Expect a mix of fantastic live music and DJ sets, and all the gigs are open to the public and are FREE ENTRY!
Please note: all venues will be operating under the current COVID-19 restrictions, which includes reduced capacity to ensure social distancing, drinking while seated (unless outdoors) and no dancing. There is no booking for these events – we suggest you get there early to secure your place to avoid disappointment.
One of the most enduring live acts in Adelaide, The Flaming Sambucas have become synonymous with good times at venues all over the City. Whether they are performing their hugely popular Abba and Elton John tributes, or playing a mix of the greatest hits of the 70s and 80s (as they will be on this night), the ‘Sambucas always leave patrons smiling. Local Revolution at The Crown & Sceptre
Get ready for a night of killer afro funk and soul grooves courtesy of this dynamic collective who’ve graced many a festival stage (including NYE at Elder Park) and international support slot for the likes of Maxi Priest. Tervete Collective at 55ML Bar
Widely regarded as a hotspot for Adelaide’s underground hip hop talent, 55ML Bar host a night of live hip hop, funk and groove vibes with The Tervete Collective and special guests in the house! Free Entry. Band onstage 9pm. 55ML – 33 Mill St Adelaide.
Acoustic Tunes at The Saracens Head Hotel
